Annual WestCHEM day

Save the date for the 12th annual WestCHEM Research Day on 18 August 2016! The University of Strathclyde will be hosting this year’s event in the Thomas Graham building (TG312). Our keynote speaker is Sabine Flitsch, Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Manchester, and we will be welcoming a number of sponsors, including the Royal Society of Chemistry. The WestCHEM Research Day programme.

Katie Emery from Strathclyde (supervisors: Tell Tuttle and John Murphy) and Ross Marshall from Glasgow (supervisor: Ross Forgan) won the “Best Presentation Prize” at this year’s WestCHEM research day (a £20 Amazon voucher each). The photos show Prof Sabine Flitsch presenting them their awards. If you think it’s appropriate, please post them on the westchem website.
